Planning a Visit? Where We Are Located

The Fresh and Local CSA is located 8 miles from the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers at Harpers Ferry, just off the historic 5-points intersection of Rt230, Flowing Springs Road, Gardener Lane and Trough Road (2 miles south of Shepherdstown, West Virginia)

We want you to visit the farm as often as possible. Our insurance requires that a farmer be present when visitors are on the land, so, we must ask you to schedule you visit with us by calling Farmer Allan at (304) 876-3382 or emailing allan@freshandlocalcsa.com

Are you interested in getting your hands in the soil? Getting some farming experience? See whats its like to be a beginning farmer? Please give us a hand, we love having volunteers out at the farm. We are happy to show you around, teach you all about the little things, the insects, the methods, and all the joys in the process. If you would like to come out, please visit the “Volunteer” section of our website for more details. We always reward our volunteers with amazing tasting produce.

We also remind you that ours is a rustic farm and weather can mean the difference between a super enjoyable on-farm experience and a rather miserable (but character-building!) one. Please be flexible with your farm visit plans because few things are as miserable as children in a cold rain!
There are lots of great things for both adults and kids to do in the Shepherdstown area, from shopping to river rafting, so please plan to spend a lot of time with us this summer!
